Will my website be mobile optimized?
Yes! You will have a fully mobile optimized WordPress website.
once the site is built will it be hard for me to edit it?
A HUGE part of my website design philosophy is that a client should never be beholden to a website designer to make every little change on their site once it is handed off to them.
I make it very easy for you to easily make common edits such as changing out photos or copy. I even install walk-thru tutorial videos in the back end of your site so you will ALWAYS know exactly how to to something.
Plus, following our day together you will get 60 days of email and text/Voxer support where you can ask me questions, get feedback and even request a personalized demo video if you do get stuck on how to do something.
will you also write my copy?
I don't write copy but I do have an EXCELLENT copywriter in house and we can add copywriting to your website design package if you'd like. Otherwise, you are responsible for all of your own copy.
Will you also take care of my logo and branding?
I don't do branding but I do have an EXCELLENT graphic designer in house and we can add branding to your website design package if you'd like. Otherwise, you are responsible for all of your own branding.
Am I responsible for my domain and hosting or do you take care of that for me?
That is totally up to you. If I take care of it for you it will cost $137 per year for domain and hosting and $35 per year for professional domain email(s) associated with it.
How are you able to design websites so fast?
I've developed a time-tested streamlined process that allows me to do this. Efficiency is my middle name LOL!
It has alot to do with the pre-work that we do together that allows me to be the most productive on the days that I'm devoted to your website build.
It also has to with context switching. You see, results are actually better and faster when we’re focused on ONE thing for a block of time, rather than jumping in and out of a project.
How available do I have to be during the 1 or 4 day website build?
We'll communicate via text or Voxer and I'll send you updates throughout the day, asking for feedback and making final revisions.
You do not have to feel tied down at all. Just go about your day but do make sure your phone is charged and nearby! 📲
Wouldn't it be better to take more time and not rush it?
I’ve found that when we stretch out projects over a long period of time, there tends to be an unnecessary amount of hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait some more… Also, when we stretch projects out, I have to take on more clients at any given time, and each client does not get 100% of the value I deliver because my brain is trying to think about many different projects and clients at any given time.
What if i can't make decisions that quickly?
I completely understand what it’s like to be indecisive and feel pressured to make decisions quickly. This is why I’ve started including an hour for post-intensive revisions or edits. I give you a few days to “sleep on it” after the intensive is over, so that you can really think about if there are any changes you’d like made. No pressure!
